Yesterday my wonderful research technician, Kamran Eslami, and I had the opportunity to present our research to the families and patients at the Cure SMA Family Poster Session! I can honestly say it was my favorite part of the conference. See you next year!

NIH appears to have canceled/postponed all of its study sections—the independent review panels that approve federal grants for health research. Such grants fund the work/salaries of 300k people at more than 2,500 institutions

I live in Sweden, Östergötland, and will not be allowed any Covid vaccine at all this year. Not even if I offer to pay for it. I have Spinal muscular atrophy, basically no muscular function, and I depend on respiratory support even on days when I'm not infected with anything. 1/2
