Tiedon valoa event was streamed from Tampere-Talo on Saturday, Jan. 29. There were discussions about the future of Tampere, climate change, art and much more. I was able to attend on Saturday’s event and listen to some interesting discussions.

Next I would like to introduce HUBS to you! The number one spot in Tampere for entrepreneurial minded students. HUBS operates in Tampere Universities as a promoter of good entrepreneurship, for the students at Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.

The art exhibition, Aerial Roots. Visual creator Luiza Preda and sonic artist, Allan Castellanos have created a promising experience for Tampere’s local community at Himmelblau Gallery in Finlayson for this February (4.2.22-20.2.22).

Yesterday there was coffee tasting, cupping in the catering studio. The purpose was that the jury was going to choose from four different Mokkamestari's coffees, which will be launched as a title coffee for the catering studio. The jury was very unanimous about the winning coffee

Proakatemia's team company Saawa Osk builded Jääkahvila in Rauhaniemi for two weeks! The café is open every day from 21 February to 6 March from 10 am to 5 pm. I got to taste some of the wonderful pancakes on the opening day and oh that they tasted like a piece of heaven! 😍

I hope you enjoyed a relaxing winter vacation! Today we were able to return to campuses and Mediapolis held a well-being day to create a soft landing back to contact teaching after a long distance studies.  See you at the campuses!

Today, I was glad to see the Kino-TAMK short films of TAMK's media students. There were 7 very different short films involved. At the forefront of the short films was their authenticity, ordinary people, everyday life.

The annual SalesUp fair event for business students was held today. The event was finally again on TAMK's campus. First-year students set up an educational company in an industry valued by them and run it for the first year, culminating in a SalesUp fair event.

The graduating Fine Arts class of Tampere University of Applied Sciences The degree show Embers is dedicated to the theme of rebirth. The world has always gone through a cycle of birth, growth, and the end of all things, followed by rebirth.

Business studies include project studies, the student must participate in some projects that may come from students own proposal, school or from various companies. The student must make a project plan and a final project report.

TAMK's Hospitality management students organized an international food market on Friday as part of their studies. Students served two or three dishes from different countries. I got to enjoy all the delicious dishes and my own favorite was the Spanish tomato soup.

Welcome to Spring It on! -event in honor of returning to campuses and the student mental health day on 13 April! This event is for TAMK's students and staff! Welcome to TAMK main campus lobby at 11-16!

Paidia - The arena of science Nokia Arena's Paidia space is a space for the university community, where various events, training, research, collaboration and student activities take place.

The D.A.N.C.E Deluxe Arts ’N’ Culture Event was an iWeek event held at Yo-talo. It was a celebration of the return of live gigs and performed by artists studying music production at TAMK. TAMK's media students were also responsible for the video graphics behind the performances.

The Spring It On event was held on the Kuntokatu campus on Wednesday 13 April to mark Student Mental Health Day. There was live music, mocktails, pancakes, stands of organizations, social circus, the SportUn exercise point and the products of the Proakatemia team companies.

The people of the Business and Media unit gathered to celebrate the first joint unit day in the Paidia space of Nokia Arena on March 24. There were staff from different fields, the whole unit was meeting for the first time.

Resonanssi 12 was held on 9 April 2022 in Tampere at Mediapolis, G Livelab and Nokia Arena's Paidia venue. Theme was Sound & Illusion. The event was implemented in cooperation with TAMK / Media, Aalto University / ELO and YLE. The aim was to further develop Finnish film skills.
