MIRTAZAPINE: when given at lower doses H1 antagonism predominates leading to sedation. As the dose increases so do noradrenergic and dopaminergic effects, which offset sedation. Thus, Mirtazapine is less sedating at higher doses!

Over the past few months our resident Mark has dedicated his time to growing an lots of tomato varieties in the greenhouses. Mark has done such a fantastic job and really put his heart and soul into his work. All that effort is set to be rewarded with tomatoes almost ready!

We're hopeful that over the next couple of weeks we'll have an abundance of tomatoes on sale on our stall at River Garden. In the meantime please feel free to pop down for a cuppa and a perusal of the veg we have available today! Watch this space for further updates!

Looking for a care home manager for Victoria House Care Home Blantyre. This is a 50 bed care home for older adults. You will be working supported by a good team including by a General Manager.

Have read many a time on Twitter that psychiatrists have 'power' over their patients. What we have is a great deal of responsibility. I did not ask for the 'power' to detain a patient, nor do I take pleasure in it. My patient's welfare is my responsibility, holistically.

All unhappiness is not depression. All voices are not psychosis. All naughty children do not have ADHD. All shy people do not have ASD. All sequelae from trauma is not PTSD. And that is why syndromal diagnoses and clear phenomenology are important- to clarify what is what.
