Wonderful afternoon at the @uncg_che Diversity Award presentation. My ❤️ is full! So much to celebrate 🎉. So much more to do!!!

Watched my first Aggie Pride game today. Score didn’t turn out as hoped but had a great time.

I am beyond happy to see my mom DeAnn Croatt receive an award that recognizes her incredible work over 25 years with MN's Community Development Agency Board of Commissioners (board chair since 2010). She helped bring more affordable housing options to the area. Congrats!!

Our softball tournament was rained out but this meant we could watch the first UNCG Softball game! Saw since big bombs! #SoftballLife

Congrats to Alexis Croatt for having a tremendous first college softball game! Started at 3B, got a hit up the middle in her first at bat, and then had a walk off hit to help Oberlin Softball win the game! #proudsoftballdad

There’s nothing like a UNCG Softball win to finish out the week!

I love finishing the work week on a good note. This week it was a great seminar by Chem + Biochem UNCG faculty Jerry Walsh who gave an amazing summary of his career and then outdoor group meeting!

On Saturday my younger two had a great tournament and then finished the day with holiday lights at the Greensboro Science Center and even ride a UNCG horse on the carousel!

Had a great time at the UNCG Basketball vs NC A&T Basketball game today. Brought a bunch of JSNN-Nano Greensboro researchers to the game, and since we are all with both UNCG and North Carolina A&T we were guaranteed a win!

Had a great time watching UNCG Softball play Ohio State. They were tied after six but Ohio State ended up pulling ahead in the seventh. Great game!

Sleep in or go catch UNCG Softball play Ohio? Easy decision.

Within the last 24 hours I got to watch UNCG Softball play three games (including a victory over UConn) and hosted JSNN-Nano Greensboro in the Spartan Spot to watch UNCG Basketball beat Western Carolina. Great weekend so far! UNCG

As one door closes, another one opens. Yesterday I finished my position of Interim Dean of JSNN-Nano Greensboro and today I started as the Director of UNCG URSCO! I’ll miss my North Carolina A&T friends, but I enjoy being back on the UNCG campus. Fun times ahead!

Having a great first week with my new position as Director of UNCG URSCO! Yesterday we welcomed in about 70 Research Fellows who are first year undergrads and today we celebrated students who were funded to do summer research. It’s great to celebrate changing lives!

I’m SUPER excited to publish something that we’ve been working on since just before COVID. This one has several undergrads, MS, and PhD students’ hands on this. Thanks to UNCG it is open access as well! Enjoy this read! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
