I just bumped into my old primary school Head, Mr Grieveson – a brilliant, inspiring teacher. It's the first time I've seen him since 1995, but we all remember teachers that made a difference to our lives. He says teaching is still a brilliant career 👉 getintoteaching.education.gov.uk.

Experts often put their expertise down to 'lots of experience'. But… It can't just be that because we have experienced non-experts. Experience is necessary but not sufficient (Berliner, 1987). So how do we turn average experiences into ones that power expertise?
