It was great to listen, learn, and think as the fab teams from @dedridgeps and Bellsquarry Primary and ELC explored "balance" in education. How do YOU connect this image to YOUR experience in school?

P2 had fun last week reading, spelling and writing words with the pattern ‘tch’. We practised stretch, sketch, stitch, witch and patch. We really enoyed making our own eye patch and scanning the qr code to have a go at some stretching @dedridgeps

P2 have been so busy for #WorldBookDay. We have been reading Suzy Orbit Astronaut. We have been thinking about reusing and recycling like in the story and building our own space pods, intergalactic googles, meteroid blasters and speak-o-phones!

P2 having been thinking about different values like fairness and sharing. Last week we discussed caring. We thought about caring for each other and the environment. We worked with a partner and went on a litter pick. @dedridgeps

Primary 1 💙💛 explored the idea of gender equality in relation to toys. We couldn’t believe the amount of ‘boys toys’ and ‘girls toys’ in our catalogues. We made our own toy catalogues to show that toys are for EVERYONE. Skills Development Scotland Let Toys Be Toys Challenging Gender Stereotypes

Lots of fun in P2 today. We had to solve the maths questions and crack the code to find out where the easter eggs were hidden. We found them in the messy garden and we even did some writing🍫🐇@dedridgeps
