Science Stay and Play! 🐞🐛🦟
This afternoon after school I led a science themed stay and play session for the Reception children and their families. We had a fantastic turn out and everybody had great fun in the sun! ☀️

Happy Earth Day! 🌍 I’ve really enjoyed talking to the children today about how we can look after the earth. We did some litter picking too! 🗑️

Today, I have been preparing for starting back on Monday. I am going to introduce my new ‘Miss Main’s Star Challenge!’ to the class! Every week I am going to set 5 challenges for children to complete in return for Dojo points. 👩‍🏫✏️🌟

I have my first job interview tomorrow for a SEN teaching position! 👩‍🏫🍎

Another busy week on placement. 4 weeks complete already! 🤯
This week I brought in some tadpoles for the children to learn about! Excited to learn and explore them further next week as I set up this curiosity area! 🐸

I had a fabulous day today supporting wonderful year 4s with this epic day! 🇨🇳🧧🥢

Yesterday I prepared the craft activity for the children at church. The children had a brilliant time making their pizzas and discussing their favourite pizza toppings. 🍕🍟

What a fab session we had yesterday in university all about planning! We had to use the resources provided to create continuous provision areas, everyone loved the den I made!! 😀🧸🪁🎨📚 Thanks Jamie Allman ! EHU | Education Edge Hill University

Today I visited my placement school for the first time! I will be in Reception with a wonderful class! It was so lovely to meet everybody, I can’t wait to get started! 👩‍🏫👧👦🛝🧸🚂

Had a great day today helping Y6 classes with their visit to @edgehilluniversity @ehu_foe ! In DT, they completed the STEM challenge, creating a stable structure to hold as many marbles as possible. One group managed to get theirs to hold over 100 marbles! Fantastic! 😊
