Reception have been looking for signs of Spring this week - I found some on my walk this afternoon! 🌱🌷🌻

Today in Reception 3 we observed and discussed the caterpillars that Alfred's parents kindly donated to us. Look at the amazing questions the children were asking - we can't wait to find out the answers! HLC_Primary Hannah

Our caterpillars have now transformed into chrysalides! The children were lucky enough to watch one of the caterpillars carefully curl up into a chrysalis across the period of a day at school. Not long now... We're all so excited! HLC_Primary Hannah

Yesterday was the day our lovely little butterflies left their habitat, fully grown and ready to fly! R3 did an amazing job of staying really quiet as we released them into the forest, near a butterfly house. We hope that they'll return someday. HLC_Primary Hannah

Our Reception children have been learning about money this week. They have all been to the coffee shop to buy a cookie. They handled real coins and enjoyed this activity. Lots of lovely manners too!

We are thrilled with our fish that the children have painted! It is going to be displayed in Telford Town Park to promote recycling and the reduction of single-use plastic.. The fish will be displayed with others from different schools. Keep a look out for it.
