P5Q shoutout of the week! ⭐️ This week we had a pupil trying really hard in every lesson. They also showed great manners and listening skills. Well done!

On Thursday, everyone went to see ‘The Elf and Scrooge.’ P5 loved watching this pantomime and had a great day out! Thank you again to our parent helpers who joined us.🎤

Finally, today we had some confident individuals who were brave enough to perform in front of the whole school! I am so proud of every pupil who participated in the talent show! Also, it was lovely to see pupils cheering on everyone performing.🎭

It was so great to see everyone back in school this week! We started a new book study looking at ‘The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse.’ P5Q had a great understanding of our first quote of the term. It will be lovely to look at more quotes as the weeks go on. 📚

Super proud of our first Star Award of the term! This confident individual has been showing a positive attitude towards their class work. I’m really excited to see this pupil keep it up all term.⭐️ Please keep checking our X page to see our next Star Award.

In P5 this term we are looking at the topic ‘The Titanic’. We have started our research by drawing images of the boat and we have filled this with information about the Titanic. Each group was given a different topic area to investigate. 🔍

The pupils are also making amazing use of new websites such as Padlet. Every pupil looked at a different feature of the Titanic ship. They shared their fascinating research about the build of the ship with each other. 🚢

I am so proud of the pupil who got the Star Award in P5Q this week! This pupil showed a great effort in their classwork and showed amazing manners. Keep it up! ⭐️

As part of our STEM week we have been focusing on coding. The pupils have been exploring coding combat! Please ask your child what skills they have learned through this exciting activity.💻

Please remember to bring a change of shoes and clothes that you don’t mind your child wearing outside. You may also want to send your child in with an extra bag to put their outdoor clothes into. 😊
