The Platt Music Department has been out and about this week in Washington DC! We’ve toured monuments and museums and our amazing band performed at George Mason University!

Today students are meeting to discuss the Meriden K12 Portrait of a Graduate! Students are working to unpack the 5 competencies and make connections to how they meet these in and out of school! 🎓🐾

This morning Platt’s Morning Choir performed a pre-school concert for all of the students and faculty entering the building! What a great way to end the week!

Took advantage of a gorgeous afternoon and spent the period with my AP Psychology class outside drawing brains! 🧠

In AP Psychology today we learned how a split brain works! Students imitated the left & right side of a brain w a severed corpus callosum & had to complete tasks like folding a paper airplane, tying a shoe & identifying a basic object w/o seeing and w compromised language access!
