Our little caterpillars are growing nicely! I’m taking a photo of them with my children each day ready to add to our upcoming class assembly. We also read ‘Tadpole’s Promise’ today, if any of you have read it, you’ll understand why the children’s faces were like 😱 at the end!😂

A few bits and bobs ready for next week. This week has been one of my busiest yet, I’m so ready for the weekend! #edutwitter

The children baked sweet & savoury treats, personalised their menu and served their parents for our Enterprise Project today & it was lovely. Good practise for their maths skills too when adding up the total. We’ve raised £54 so far and the other half of the class are tomorrow!🧁

This week’s provision was a success! Next week is Enterprise week; we’re running a cafe! The children are baking cakes for their parents and all sales will go to buying new resources for our classroom. What a fab idea!

The children loved these areas this week. They built castles for the peg dolls which promoted some great conversations about superheroes, castle features & different families. We’re also learning about drawing people with correct features so they built one first!🏰 #edutwitter

Always thought taking the train into central London is the easiest option but parking on the outskirts for free on a Sunday and taking the bus for just £1.75 is so much cheaper and nicer (but quite a bit longer)! 🇬🇧

Comic Relief! The odd shoes threw them the most!😂 Each year group put on an activity at lunch time to raise money, YR was bracelet making! They gave over 50p to come in and make a bracelet. They loved it and we raised so much money for charity. Great day!❤️

The children have found this quite tricky so we’ve added it into our provision this week. They’re really improving and are enjoying the challenge! #edutwitter

Today a fire engine came in to do a fire safety talk to YR and give them a tour of their fire engine! It was brilliant! They even got a go at spraying the hose (and so did I!). I was surprised at how hard it was to hold onto with the pressure of the water! #edutwitter

There’s been a crime scene in Reception and all our lovely cupcakes we’ve made have gone!! Today we became detectives and looked for clues! The children were so engaged! #edutwitter
