We have been exploring the artist Kandinsky! We had a look at the amazing style he uses, making planets in an abstract style. Using paints, chalks and felt tips. We used inspiration pictures of Kandinsky and his work to recreate our own amazing art pictures. #EYFS #LoveLearnLive

This week we have been looking at ‘onomatopoeia’. We explored some examples in our story ‘Eliot midnight superhero’. We made some amazing ‘pop art’ after looking at the artist Roy Lichtenstein! Some great busy work happening in Reception 🎨👏☺️ #LoveLearnLive #EYFS #STMLiteracy

We created our own maps just like Eliot in our text “Eliot Midnight Superhero”. We teared our paper, scrunched it up and brushed over with tea bags and water. We then used pens to draw and label several geographical details as seen in our story. #LoveLearnLive #EYFS #STMLiteracy

We’ve had a visit from PC Kris. He came to talk to us about his job, how he help people in the community and he brought us some police uniform to try on. PC Kris also showed us his police car, we sat in the car, turned on the lights and sirens! Thank you PC Kris! #lovelearnliv
