The children had a great time on balance bikes yesterday with bikeability Mab Lane PE Mab Lane Primary Sch. The children understood that having good balence will help them when moving onto bikes with pedals. 🚲

As part of #aspirationsweek last week the children were lucky to have a visit from MJ Quinn We listened to why their job is important and how they stay safe. Mab Lane Primary Sch 🧰⚡️👷🏻🦺

In DT we learned how to juice and cut fruits safely. We were able to use the bridge method when cutting the oranges, limes, lemons, bananas and strawberries. We got to eat lovely fruit and even tried drinking the juices! 😖😂🍓🍊🍋🍋‍🟩🍌Mab Lane Primary Sch MrsSnape

In history we learned about World War 2 and the role Queen Elizabeth II played. To learn more we discussed the effects of the war and what we would do in an air raid. The children loved using props and building their own shelters in different ways Mab Lane Primary Sch Mrs Farley 🚨

The children tried really hard in Tennis this week by practicing their volley technique. They used cones to catch and then practiced with the racket. The children knew they had to always keep their eye on the ball Mab Lane PE

Children had a great time yesterday for our Magic Marble Madness afternoon in celebration of filling our marble jar for the last time. We had marble races in teams and predicted which would win. We even created some of our own marble runs. Mab Lane Primary Sch Miss Myers
