6ES had a fantastic morning in the sunshine creating their own Maya calendars! We discussed how to read the Haab and Tzolk'in, then compared to our own calendar. Then we enjoyed listening to Miss Smallwood read our class book - Who Let The Gods Out!

Welcome to our Mowmacre Maya Marketplace! We put our history knowledge to the test and had a go at trading like the Maya - Year 6 had to work hard to barter and trade their crops and crafts!

Our 'new' Year 6's had a fantastic time during roundabout day with Miss Smallwood and Miss Brian! We created fantastic collages for our new topic books!

Year 6 had a fantastic afternoon on Friday, participating in their last sports day at primary school! All children worked hard in their houses to support each other and demonstrated great perseverance in all events!
