Is there any point in continuing to practise or recall information when 100% accuracy has already been achieved? YES! It's called overlearning. This ⤵️ is how it works.

There’s been a justified outrage on edutwitter this week. But tomorrow, let’s remember why we are there. It’s not Ofsted, it’s not exams, it’s not grades, it’s not good lesson observations, it’s helping children get better every day. It can get lost, but let’s focus on that.

I love using the children’s writing to label displays around the classroom! (Yes I know ‘hed’ isn’t spelt correctly but it was phonetically spelt by a 4 year old) #EYFS

Publishing a very emotional Summer Project for us this year titled “There’s only one you”. We invited a very special ex pupil back into school to teach us how to view our world. In her own words : “I see too, just a bit different to you” #pshe #eyfs #rnib RNIB

Our world is literally burning 💔 and teachers are still laminating for displays, buying cheap plastic off Temu, being generally wasteful for the sake of aesthetic. I always say to chn that they CAN make a difference. That instead of people thinking that they can’t change…

Supporting children’s oral language in the early years is vital. It’s especially important that we support *all* children, especially those at risk of falling behind. How can we do this? A thread 🧵

Have just finished updating the overview for a weekly picturebook assembly which focuses on equality, diversity and inclusion. It's very much a work in progress but please feel free to use and adapt. The link is on my Padlet: padlet.com/Jon_Biddle/rea…
