Monumental day for #Ethiopia today as the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam begins generating power! 🇪🇹

WE CAN! The Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), now the largest hydroelectric scheme in Africa, may have been at the centre of a regional dispute. But, has it started producing electricity yesterday let's pose and admire such mega investment being done by Ethiopians alone.
