To call for “Zionists” to be barred from college campuses is to call for a ban on Jews.

And a handful of people wearing Jewish ritual items as they perform distorted prayers in garbled Hebrew in the middle of the mob doesn’t change it.

This was one of the signs found at Northwestern’s anti-Israel encampment. A “no” through a Star of David. Read that again. Antisemitism has snuck its way into the mainstream. It cannot be ignored or excused.

Protest is free speech.

Harvard Jews respectfully asked the administration for an Israeli flag to be flown after October 7 and the request was rejected. As context, Ukraine flag flew for months after the Russian invasion.

The new encampment Stanford University’s admit weekend is being orchestrated in coordination with PSL — an organization that supports Syria’s Assad (who gassed his own people), denies Tiananmen Square, supports the annexation of Crimea, etc etc.

NEW: Cornell has suspended several students for breaking university rules with their encampment.

The administration also says chanting “there is only one solution: intifada revolution” contradicts the protestors’ claim that their protest is not antisemitic.
