Loving yourself less to love someone more to make them stay is too close to begging for the bare minimum and is often a trauma response. Let them go. Some relationships don't work out because they're your lessons and the universe sent them to break your heart and fix your vision.

Soulmates are linked by destiny. They will always find each other, befriend each other, and love each other. Your soulmate will make you feel seen, heard, understood, and loved, make you laugh, bring out your inner child, and make you forget about the exhausting adulting.

To avoid disappointment, take people exactly as they are, instead of idealizing about what you wish they would be.

Maturity is accepting you won't always get the answers or apologies for the sh*t that hurt you... but you move on and heal anyway.

Communication is everything. If they don't communicate their beef with you, that's not your problem. If they don't communicate their expectations, their disappointment is not your problem. If they don't communicate and they expect you to read their minds, that's not your problem.

The real flex is learning to raise your emotional intelligence so toxic people can't play mind games with you, learning to pause before reacting so manipulators can't disrespect you and blame you for your negative reactions, and learning to say 'no' so takers can't take from you.

I promise you, you can't form a deep connection with someone when you don't feel safe with them because without emotional safety, there's no trust. Without trust, there's no vulnerability. Without vulnerability, there's no intimacy. Without intimacy, there's no deep connection.
