This tweet is just the perfect nugget of covid misinformation. Someone claiming to have lots of experience but obviously not understanding basic standard of care…and then using their title to convince people of dangerous lies. And we wonder why non-medical people are confused.

Parent of a kid who was in nicu for 14 days with rsv (also an adult icu md)…parents will hold on so tight to a timeline if u give them one. It can be a big disappointment when they’re not getting better by day 5 if that’s what u we’re told to expect.
