Everyday is a training day. Great to see RAF Medics and Paramedics working on maintaining and continually developing their skills. 👊🏼 What a great mentor they have in you Scott Howie 👍🏼 Sarah Hayward
Lovely to visit @UCLan today to see the Mil Paramedic students get their certificates in emergency response ambulance driving. Well done to you all. RAF Medic Profession Advisor
#ReservesDay The knowledge, skills & experience our reservist colleagues bring to the Defence Medical Services can never be under estimated. When we train together & deploy together, the amount I learn as a regular is immeasureable! Thank you to you all esp the #Paramedics

Paramedics and those in the emergency services are adaptable, multiskilled and crucially, know how to work under pressure. Proudly becoming Patron of College of Paramedics. It’s been a privilege to spend time today with first responders whose work saves lives day in, day out.
I met Paddy in January and we chatted about his time in the Royal Air Force. He talked about dogfights, bailing out and partying in London during those summer days of 1940. It was a privilege to meet him - one of a generation whose sense of duty inspires our people today.
