Here is my FA Cup (ew) portfolio for information only. Bets placed about a month ago: Chelsea 9/1 Brentford 22/1 Sunderland 80/1 Leeds 80/1 #mugpunting

After today's win, Mboko odds shortening for the 2026 GSs. Skybet preferred because of NRNB and the injury concessions in play. I've had 50/1 ew French Open 33/1 ew Wimbledon 28/1 ew US Open Improving rapidly and still only 19.

I agree he's worth a play for SPOTY Ian. EW 123 would be my suggestion: 8/1 betvictor for those that can but 7/1 Lads and Coral looks OK to me. Into 5/1 fav with Sky.

This is the 300-seat refurbished Pigott Theatre in the basement of the Sainsbury wing of the National Gallery. Opened in May '25, it's a tremendous facility. I saw a rather weird 20-minute film here yesterday but would attend again if a more interesting programme was showing.

I'll be having a bet at Southwell tomorrow. Not in the C Hill race but in the 20:00S. It's potentially a decent size field. We've not had a double-digit field over the minimum trip since 6th January. Since then we've had nine races with <10 runners. More thoughts tomorrow.

Bad morning, no access to bookies on my phone, don't know why. Missed the value. 20:00S think far side could have the edge. 2pts w Nogos Dream 5/1 gen 0.75pt ew Sports Coach 14/1 FOUR places with Sky, PP, B365. 6×0.5pt fcasts above two with Existent (3pts). Total 6.5pts staked.

Everyone has an opinion! Personally I think running CH at Cheltenham is risky for the horse (how many hurdlers fall three times?) and the sport. He has lots of options on the Flat, particularly in a shallow staying division if he can build on last night’s performance.

I think Brough Scott nailed it this morning (Luck On Sunday, about 9:30). Constitution Hill should not run at Cheltenham. Too risky for the sport let alone the horse and/or the jockey.

Excellent free (donations welcome) concert St James's Church, Piccadilly Friday: two pianists, violin plus baritone singing Faure stuff. Four hands in piano action below:

Some joy for the Jam Tarts today. Celtic has players sent off. They lose at home and Rangers can only draw at the bottom side. Hearts go slight favourite for the title. Broken Hearts (partially) mended.

I've backed my opinion on C Hill by drip feeding tenners into the 'no' Cheltenham market on betfair. Very little liquidity but have taken prices between 2.2 - 2.3. Current aggregate 2.28. I know many will disagree but that's fine (no swearing needed).

Excellent article. He's 73 but still as cool as ever. I met him once, about 1980. We were opening a new shop in Cheltenham (Lads). He'd agreed to attend. Rendezvous in Lambourn: his wife kindly made us a cook breakfast before we departed. He was utterly charming with the punters.

I wonder if Tony Bloom has been taking an interest in Poniros for the Champion Hurdle? Price seems to be trimmed on a daily basis..
