Tonight, I attended Mike Colle's #BlackHistoryMonth Celebration with wonderful musical performances by Jay Douglas, Everton Pablo Paul, Carol Brown, Wendy Irvine, Maurice Gordon and Dave de Launay.

Last night I hosted my annual #BlackHistoryMonth celebration & was joined by Deputy Mayor Jennifer McKelvie From talented local artists, dedicated community leaders, residents all over the City,& the delicious food (including my homemade Cows Foot Soup) a great time was had by all!

Today is City of Toronto Day, marking the day York was incorporated into the City of Toronto. To commemorate the day, the Toronto Sign will be illuminated in blue tonight. Happy City of Toronto Day to all!
