On that first Anzac Day, April 25, 1915, the Australian submarine AE2 did the impossible, boldly penetrating the Dardanelles to change the course of the Gallipoli campaign. Her crew of 34 eventually became PoWs in Turkey, 4 of them dying in captivity. Lest we forget.
