Batman The Animated Series was my first introduction to Batman, so Kevin Conroy is always going to be my first Batman. RIP to a great talent and thanks for turning me on to such a great character.

#BabylonMovie is a wild ride and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Damien Chazelle is one of the best directors working today, IMO. Some bits push the limits (and one or two probably are excessive), but had a blast watching it.

Was fun heading back to Pandora. 3D took some getting used to again; still not convinced it adds all that much to movies. The final act is phenomenal and James Cameron is a master filmmaker. And yet, while I enjoy both Avatars, can't say I love them. #AvatarTheWayOfWater

Started the day with Oscar nominees (thrilled for Everything Everywhere All at Once and Banshees of Inisherin) and ended with first of four online #Sundance2023 screenings - Jonathan Major's Magazine Dream. Really liked it, maybe we're talking about him this time next year

Tom Brady announces his retirement two days before a movie where he's a big focus comes out. Man knows how to time things. As for the movie, #80ForBrady is a light, fun movie thanks to its four GOATs - Sally Field, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Rita Moreno whattowatch.com/reviews/80-for…

Going to miss Netflix DVDs, got to watch so many classic movies that would have been hard to find otherwise. Wonder how many more I can watch between now and September?

Great time speaking with #TheHoldovers writer David Hemingson. Discussed working with Alexander Payne, why we need more adult dramas and the 70s movies that inspired him, with a shoutout to LA’s Best Movie Rental! whattowatch.com/features/exclu…
