Last week, some of our SWB Volunteer Service visited our young patients to spread the word about Midland Met. They shared a specially designed Midland Met colouring sheet featuring our very own Nick Makwana. Thank you to our volunteers for making the time to spread some joy.

It’s important that we nurture & grow the future generation of operational leaders. So we’re pleased to launch #Proud2bOps today, which will see them inspired via a developmental programme. This comes at an exciting time for us ahead of the opening of the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital #ambition

Today we are celebrating #InternationalNursesDay Held on the birthday of Florence Nightingale, known as the “Lady with the Lamp” – nurses across the Trust are passing on our very own lamp to their heroes who make such a profound impact within healthcare.

Before we bid farewell to May, we must say a massive congratulations to Claire, who has been supporting work around our SWB estate. Claire has been diligently auditing areas and meeting teams as part of the project work. Well done, Claire 🙂.

We’re moving! To make things easier for our X followers, we're now keeping our Midland Met updates in one place. From today, we’ll be using our main X page, SWB NHS Trust. This page won't be active anymore, but don't worry – you'll still get the latest Midland Met updates (and more!).
