2/2 It's about misogyny and the veil. It was exceptional - the writing, the performances, the staging - intense AF and all too relatable. Show it to older kids in schools & colleges as an educational piece. Thanks to the volunteer who checked on me after & all who offered hugs!

1/2 Baby, He Loves You. F#*! me, it hits hard. A play about consent, victim blaming, generational lads' culture, the rules that bend depending on how a woman is perceived, the lies we're told and the lies we're sold, as women.

Middle Child have expressed their struggles to attract an audience following the coronavirus pandemic and amid the cost-of-living crisis.

Box of Tricks really care about northern playwrights and have been nothing but supportive in helping us tell our stories. If you can support them now, please do. In an industry that often doesn't care about people starting out who aren't from privileged backgrounds we really need BOTTC.
