When we came up with A Quiet Place, we were students dreaming of being filmmakers someday. We were scared, excited, obsessed with movies, and had a lot to learn. Back on campus this week writing our next movie. Nothing’s changed! Thanks for the inspiration University of Iowa

Gunn to head, SUPERMAN isn’t just better than MAN OF STEEL, it’s better than Richard Donner’s original. What James Gunn accomplished isn’t just super, it’s a marvel.

Few moments in cinema have captured the magic of true wonder like Dick Miller watching Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix fly off into space in EXPLORERS. I wish Joe Dante could’ve finished the movie the way he wanted. It might’ve been his masterpiece. Happy 40th to a classic.

Don't let this Snyder Bro narrative fool you: Zack Snyder's MAN OF STEEL beating James Gunn's SUPERMAN is murky at best. This time, The Blue Boy Scout was battling: -Post-Covid Market -Crowded Summer Box-Office -Marvel caused Superhero Fatigue -Need to earn DC goodwill back
