A textbook #radar loop today with near-90° heat inland including #NYC . Water temps are only ~50°, helping form the sea breeze.

Then the storms popped-up along the boundaries! ⛈️👀

A rainbow can be seen in the NY Harbor with showers and a few thunderstorms in the area! If you look closely, the rainbow is actually extending all the way to the bottom of the picture, indicating that this is happening right in front of the camera and not in the distance! #NYwx
