This morning, BP announced 'bumper profits.'
4 billion in the first quarter of this year.

In the same period, we've lost 4593 Licensed premises.

90% were family independents.

Main reason: Sky high Energy costs.

It's disgusting that this is allowed to happen.

Companies should of course make profit, but when energy companies are making billions more than even they expected, whilst small businesses are getting squeezed in a death grip by utility bills surely something is wrong…? 🤷‍♂️
