6 years ago we were featured on NBC Nightly News with Tom Llamas to honor MLK Jr. Melissa Collins,PhD (NBCT) & I continue to bring our classes together each year to keep his dream alive to make for a better world. Empatico may be gone but we are still here doing the work. Thank you Daniel Lubetzky

Thank you Dory Lerner at NatCivilRightsMuseum for taking us on a virtual tour and teaching us about the legacy of Dr King! Students got a great chance to visit such an important place. It was also great to collaborate with 5th graders in Washington State at the same time.

Once a fellow with Collaborative for Student Success always a fellow! Congratulations to Michael Houston for his Travelers Award for Teaching Excellence at the The NEA Foundation Celebration of Success.

So proud to share my S’s won 1st & 2nd place for Burlington County EA in the New Jersey Conservation Foundation Art&Essay Contest for 5th graders! They choose an at-risk animal in NJ, research it & write from the animal’s perspective for help. This is the 2nd time we’ve taken both spots.

Thanks National Endowment for the Humanities & Japanese American National Museum for providing me w/ an amazing experience last June. I incorporated what I learned of Japanese American experiences during WWII into my read aloud of Graham Salisbury ‘s Under the Blood Red Sun. Today S’s ate rice w/ chopsticks.

Daniel Lubetzky, I always cherish the opportunity you provided to Michael Dunlea M.Ed., NBCT, PAEMST and me, where a few of our students had the chance to meet each other. As they prepare to head to high school, may they continue to spread kindness and love. You are awesome on Shark Tank!
