MICAfrica coordination team is delighted to welcome Marta Scaglioni, a Ph.D. holder in anthropology as a delegate of HealthXCross European project in the framework of knowledge exchange and capacities building in microbiome studies.

In the framework of the WP3 – Creation of North-African Human Microbiome Consortium (NAHMC), regular meetings have been held to follow up on the NACHM database creation.

In the framework of the WP1 and WP3, MICAfrica organized a training session on : Introduction to development languages ( python, SQL, UNIX…) animated by Mr.Malek Karoui , an expert engineer in computer programming. This session was held on February 24th,2023.

Participation of MICAfrica coordinator in Horizon Europe: Opportunities for the Health Cluster conference along with another H2020 Europe project coordinator 'SEED project' of the USFAX in the health sector.

In the framework of WP4: dissemination, communication and exploitation, MICAfrica coordinator participated in a local radio program and talked about MICAfrica activities and objectives.
