I expressed to the new Ambassador my best wishes for success in her mission and the willingness of the Ministry to provide her with all required facilities

I received Mr. Joey Hood 🇺🇸 Amb. to 🇹🇳 who delivered to me a letter from Secretary Antony Blinken in resp. to my letter sent Nov. 2, 2023 to my counterparts from various countries to call on them to unite efforts to stop the aggression against #Gaza & enable 🇵🇸 people to regain their rights

I stressed 🇹🇳’s firm position on the brutal aggression of the occupation army against #Gaza and 🇵🇸 people, calling once again for the necessity of a final and immediate halt to this barbaric aggression, the acceleration of aid delivery and ending the unjust siege of 🇵🇸 people

The meeting highlighted that despite the significant divergence of 🇹🇳& 🇺🇸positions on the 🇵🇸cause and the war in #Gaza , it has been agreed to continue developing bilateral relations to serve the int. of the two friendly countries within the framework of their historic relations

Delighted to welcome in 🇹🇳Mrs Menteri Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia 🇮🇩 FM. In the working session that we held, I praised the longstanding ties of friendship & coop. between 🇹🇳&🇮🇩 even before independence & called on raising them to the level of the aspiration of the two brotherly peoples

I stressed the need to develop bilateral coop. & expand its fields to Defense, Security Investment, Tourism, Higher Education. I also praised 🇮🇩's position supporting the 🇵🇸issue, and expressed my appreciation for its efforts in supporting national liberation issues

Menteri Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia appreciated the distinguished level of bilateral relations & called for seizing the available opportunities to raise bilateral coop to the best levels particularly in the fields of trade and phosphate. She noted the concordance of both countries’ positions on #Palestine

Very pleased to receive in Tunis, on my invitation, Mr Sergueï Lavrov MFA Russia 🇷🇺. We chaired a constructive working session of the two countries delegations to review the evolution of bilateral cooperation in all fields, including economic, scientific and technical sectors

Discussing regional & international issues, I reiterated 🇹🇳’s firm position on the brutal aggression suffered by the 🇵🇸people, calling for its definitive & immediate cessation and to provide urgent humanitarian assistance to the 🇵🇸people & end the unjust siege imposed on them

We exchanged our views on the major challenges currently facing the international governance system and the need to reform it so that it becomes more democratic, fair and balanced in order to ensure lasting security, peace and development in the world

Pleased to have a bilateral meeting with Mamadou Tangara, my 🇬🇲’s counterpart, on the sidelines of the high–level Seminar on strengthening peace and security in Africa, as he is chairing the Seminar in his capacity as President of the African Union Political Affairs Peace and Security for December 2023

We discussed ways to develop bilateral relations, including economic, migration and consular cooperation. I underlined that 🇹🇳 authorities continue working with specialized inter. orgs, to repatriate a number of Gambian irregular migrants to their country on a voluntary basis

We also exchanged views on ways to strengthen security and peace on the African continent as well as on developments in the regional and international issues.

Pleased to discuss with Mr. Jean Pierre François Lacroix,🇺🇳 Under-SG for peace operations. We exchanged 🇹🇳's contribution to UN peacekeeping operations. He praised 🇹🇳's contribution to these operations, expressing 🇺🇳s’ wish to support it more especially in the air transport field

جدّدت التهنئة للجزائر على التنظيم المتميز لهذا المنتدى، وحسن سير أشغاله. استعرضنا ديناميكية العلاقات 🇩🇿-🇹🇳وتطورها المتواصل، وثمّنّا مُخرجات الدورة 22 للجنة الكبرى المشتركة المنعقدة بالجزائر (2 -4 اكتوبر 2023) وأكّدنا ضرورة وضع المسارات اللازمة لتنفيذ ما تم الاتفاق بشأنه.

I participated in the dialogue session on military coups in Africa and security prospects in the continent, as part of the high-level seminar on the role of African Union Political Affairs Peace and Security & A3 Group in strengthening Africa's voice within the UNSC, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary in Oran

I highlighted the main challenges in Africa, expressing 🇹🇳’s permanent condamnation of military coups, reaffirming its commitment to the rule of 'zero tolerance' for them. I underlined the importance 🇹🇳 attaches to Armed Forces’ professionalism & integrity in the continent

I welcomed the political and diplomatic approach adopted by the Peace and Security Council of the African Union to accompany countries in transition, and praised the efforts undertaken to restore constitutional order through mediation and support to the concerned countries
