Some Tetris DX this morning.

I honestly think my least favorite part of Mystic Quest is the battle system. It’s very simplistic and boring. I do enjoy how the enemy spirit changes when their HP gets low. Apart from that, I have more fun traversing and exploring than fighting. #FinalFantasyMysticQuest

I got Ys III for SNES in 1992 and I really didn’t know what to do. Made zero progress.

Turned on Secret of Evermore for the first time. I did not know it shared many similarities with Secret of Mana, particularly gameplay and interface. The whole “Secret of” part of the title makes more sense now.

Embiid is such a dirty player. He’s not even trying to be sneaky about it. He knows full well that he can’t beat these Knicks without playing dirty. Elbows to the face, knees to the balls, grabbing ankles, falling on top of ankles. Zero respect for this fool.

I’ve kinda been in a gaming rut, I think. The creative juices not flowing enough to craft anything in Mario Maker 2. Getting Octopath Sleep Syndrome again. Been dabbling with the classics lately but nothing solid. Fck it, I’m gonna play Zelda TotK and just walk around. 😂

It was 1986, I was 8. Parents took me to (Nobody Beats) The Wiz where I could pick 1 video game. I settle on either Deadly Towers or Renegade. Couldn’t decided. All I had to go on were these box art covers. That badass Deadly Tower dude eventually won me over. I hate him. 😂

One of my favorite NES games, Tecmo Super Bowl. The regular season mode is outstanding, featuring a shit ton of stats. I play as the NY Giants, getting over 100 sacks using Lawrence Taylor on defense. 😂

Playing the amazing PAC-Man Championship Edition demake on the Delta emulator. Runs well and controller play is spot-on!

Completed the Turbo Tunnel in Battletoads on the Delta emulator using a controller. It was rough and more difficult than playing on the original NES hardware.

The music in Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest goes so damn hard. It’s unlocking memories I didn’t know I had. Really taking me back rn. Playing this on the Delta emulator off my iPhone 14 Pro using a 8bitDo Pro controller. It’s been pretty responsive thus far.

This is sad news. Just wanted to say thank you for everything LittleBigPlanet (Media Molecule). You taught me how to “Play. Create. Share.” The first two games absolutely consumed me back in the day. LittleBigPlanet and Sackboy will always hold a special place in my heart.
