Here’s a juvenile Cuckoo I photographed at Merthyr Mawr a couple of years ago. It’s sad to think these stunning birds are in such great decline and I’ve not seen one here since. These birds were the sound of Summer to my parents and grandparents but sadly not mine!

Just had notification of 2 more huge poultry units planned for mid-Wales. They now number in the hundreds! Welsh Government and Powys County Council, you have to get a grip on this issue
