No wonder Aslef haven’t targeted Easter weekend, no need to I guess when the railways already close themselves down during the NEW peak travel time 🙃

At around 6am, a Northern 🚆 train travelling towards Barrow derailed near Grange over Sands station. All passengers have been safely escorted from the train.

All lines remain blocked meaning trains are currently unable to run between Barrow-in-Furness and Lancaster.

In case anyone is missing the Merseyrail Beatles train, it can still be seen at Chester on Google Earth, well 2 of its 3 cars. 🥹
