Charities & vol orgs: end your week with a bang by telling NCVO & partners about your experiences with banking 💸 forms.office.com/e/p450kFNfbf

I'm so passionate about this - one of the most frustrating challenges vol orgs face, esp smalls. We can't change things without your help!

Important point and something I’ve heard a lot from charities & faith groups when close, especially the importance of having somewhere close by to safely deposit cash and to chat face-to-face. Sharing your survey for any charities & voluntary organisations to complete. 👇🏻

Fascinating read from Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) with some really beautiful data viz!

As they recommend, in hopes of inspiring others & normalising giving, I'll share that I donate 4% of my take home pay every month by direct debit. With one-off donations, goal is to donate 5.5% of my pay annually.

Today my local food bank served its largest number of guests *ever*. It's only open for 3 hours/week but served almost 400 people collecting for 1,450 people. Yes this is still a cost of living crisis & yes it's still a crisis for charities facing unprecedented need.

No surprise that in HM Treasury failed once again to recognise voluntary orgs' critical role in our society.

We could be a force for sustainable, inclusive growth, but that's hard when we're providing crisis support to more people than ever, with shrinking resources

It is good to have a Chancellor focusing on value for money of public spending. Even better to have a spending review so departments can actually plan rather than the madness of no plans from April 2025 onwards - potentially just months after an election
