My recent work on display ESCMID ESCMID Fungal Infection Study Group (EFISG) looked at rising fluconazole resistance in C. parapsilosis. Our reference lab Mayo Clinic Infectious Diseases has seen a (concerning!) rise in fluconazole resistance from ~5-10% to 20% in the past 3 years. Thanks Pascalis Vergidis MD, MSc for mentorship.
