Happy new year one and all! 2021 has been a rollercoaster for many reasons, namely my own struggles with my MH. I've lost friends but May brought me the most wonderful gift in the form of my daughter. Cautiously optimistic for 2022 and making many great memories with loved ones

#WritingCommunity, what are your 2022 goals? Mine is to finish the third draft of my manuscript and hopefully (🤞) start querying agents, perhaps even participate in a pitch war or two

About to edit my longest and penultimate chapter of the third draft of my manuscript 😬 Excited but nervous to work on such an important portion of the book #WritingCommunity , how do you tackle editing key scenes? Jump in feet first or put it off?

✅ Most important thing: Did your audience feel anything? 🚫 Not as important: Being experimental, erudite, arcane How does the piece *feel* ? Or does it, in fact, *lack* emotion?

The end is so close I can taste it. Final chapter of the book to edit today. I'm going to completely rewrite it. Let's gooooo

One of my coworkers told me that he's self-conscious about getting into writing bc of his age. You are NEVER too old to start writing. Every single person has a unique perspective of their experience on Earth, and there's someone out there who needs that perspective.
