Third Line OS (Melancthon) between Highway 10 and County Road 21 is now OPEN. The Declaration of a Significant Weather Event is still in effect until further notice.

The Township of Melancthon’s Significant Weather Event declared on February 27, 2020 has ended.

Through consultation with Mayor Darren White, effective 10:00 a.m. on March 17, 2020, the Township of Melancthon Municipal Office will be closed to the Public until further notice. Some services are available online or Staff will be available by phone at 519-925-5525 to assist.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Provincial State of Emergency, the Community Public Meeting regarding the Horning’s Mills Community Hall to be held on April 6, 2020 has been cancelled until further notice by the Council of the Township of Melancthon.

By order of Mayor White, the Horning’s Mills Community Hall is closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Provincial State of Emergency.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Provincial State of Emergency, the Horning’s Mills Community Park Playground Equipment is closed to the Public until further notice.

Please note that the 2nd Installment of the Interim Taxes due May 25, 2020 has been moved to June 25, 2020. The Municipal Office is still closed to the Public but Staff are available by phone to assist the Public 519-925-5525.
