As great of a game as Helldivers 2 is I think it's fair to say that it's status as a live service game tied to Sony will be a permanent detriment

There's a reason that the mass majority of Helldivers players are on PC. They don't want a PS5, or PSN account. They ruined a run of goodwill to force data sharing, and boost PSN MAU.
