1/2 An Editorβs choice PAIN Journal paper from Megan McPhee at CNAP-AAU: Effects of attentional and affective manipulation on conditioned pain modulation (CPM). Distraction and positive affective states allowed for CPM effects, whereas negative affect impaired CPM!

A nice new PAIN Journal review from @head_like_egg shows that central sensitization questionnaires do not capture pain sensitivity test responses, but I'm left wondering if either actually measure "central sensitization"? π€ journals.lww.com/pain/Abstract/β¦
