Pet peeve: seeing patients with #InSomnia and overt symptoms of #osa #sleepapnea who were diagnosed with #adhd when sleep evaluation and better quality sleep could have been achieved long ago potentially mitigating use of stimulants. We're missing the boat on these pts.💤

Why do I have to justify with an ABG showing ⬆️CO2 to get NIV for a pt who's used NIV for YEARS just because of an insurance change. Obviously if they are using it nightly with proper settings, CO2 should be normal. My note should be enough. #makeitmakesense #pccm #sleeppeeps
