1. We thought DeGods needed to be "serious". That was our mistake. After digesting the community feedback, we realized that we were wrong. DeGods are fun. So, we made them fun.

2. The new DeGods are flat by design. That's on purpose. The Downgrade is focused on simplicity. We reduced all of the details to the bare minimum. We completely removed the shadows and used highlight tones only on a select few traits.

3. The colors, the minimalist maximalism and the use of hard shadows were inspired by artists like Roy Lichtenstein, Hiroshi Nagai, assorted vintage comic illustrators and a lot of Are.na boards.

4. Still want more details on your DeGods? No problem. We tested 1000s of Midjourney prompts with every DeGod trait and put the best results in a tool that holders can use for free in our Discord. The future is AI. We want to make it easier for our community to start using it.

5. After receiving a lot of valuable feedback we have decided to postpone Female DeGods. Looking forward to re-approaching that project by getting more feedback from the women in our community. We'll start reaching out shortly.
