📢📢 New podcast Medical Rewrites Podcast Goal: rewrite movie medical plot points that keep us up and night staring at the ceiling asking, why didn’t the script writers just call me? Audience: clinicians Frequency: Q2 weeks E1: Bridesmaids E2: Wolf of Wall Street
Why should you give this podcast a listen? 1. @pharmermeg is effing hilarious (& smart) 2. She likens cefadroxil to the Taylor Swift of cephalosporins which is 😘👌 3. Anatomy lessons such as the back is "north of the rectum" So many delicious quotes!
5 stars to Medical Rewrites Podcast for teaching me new things while I also snort with laughter. Check it out, #TwitteRx!
Episode 6 is about CODA (child of dead adults). The scene that gets a loving rewrite is about tinea cruris - aka jock itch or ringworm. I do better at pronouncing Trichophyton than expected. Huge thanks to Madison Salam, PharmD, BCIDP and Scott Mueller for lending their voice acting skills.
