Wow what an successful results day for our Year 11s! Pictured below are two of our top achievers! Matthew achieved a fantastic GCSE level 5 in Maths! Nick achieved the most amount of accreditations in the year ! We are so proud of all our Year 11s achievements! Welldone!⭐️

1: Although it has been the summer holidays the academy has been extremely busy getting ready for the new academic year! A few weeks ago Mrs Jones & Miss Smith met up with Brian & Jeff from Mitie who are working with the Co-op project on a redevelopment of our Outdoor School!

2: Mrs Briggs has been in this week training new staff including Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Lunch Time supervisors ready for the academic year on PRICE -Protecting Rights In a Caring Environment @PRICETrainingLtd and refreshing existing staffs knowledge.

3: We were so lucky to have been selected by Co-op to redevelop our Outdoor School! Today was Day 2, Miss Smith & Mrs Jones met staff from Co-op , CBES & NIC Services who were amazing- building & painting! We look forward in welcoming them all back & Mitie tomorrow!

Day 3: 🍃What a wonderful surprise today at the Academy! Before 9.30am plants had been planted, veg patch built & wheelbarrows had been loaded! Co-op NIC Services CBES Mitie 🍃 🌻A huge thank you also to Peterborough B&Q for guidance on plants!🌻 #WeAreGAT

Day 3: By late morning so much more was completed the guys from Mitie CBES NIC Services Co-op worked so hard & achieved so much! We even had a little helper join us!

Day 3: Their work comes to nearly an end... the rest will now continue with the students- tools, bulbs, plants and seeds left to plant, nurture & grow! We look forward in seeing the students enjoy the cleared and purposeful area! Co-op Mitie CBES NIC Services !

Tomorrow we look forward in welcoming back staff for two incredibly busy training days with packed out agendas! We then look forward to seeing students back Wednesday and new students settling in to the Academy from Thursday for the next two weeks!

What a fabulous first day back! It was fantastic to see all our students return today dressed smartly, happy & excited for the day ahead! Home visits also took place for our new students ready to start at the Academy! We are all looking forward to a busy year a head!

For World Mental Health day & harvest students & families made donations to the Academy's Food bank!We were over whelmed by all of the donations! Not only were donations of dried & tinned food received but also essential toiletries! Thank you Medeshamstede families!

Some of our Key Stage 3 students leaving the Academy this morning for their school trip to Flag Fen Archaeology Park ! We can not wait to hear all about it on their return!

What a wonderful new addition to our Reception area! The Remembrance piece is a whole Academy effort with each class from Reception to Year 11 contributing to the collection!
