The thing about this up-in-arms pundit narrative is that there are several diff rankings and metric systems that all arrive at the same conclusion. Each is flawed in its own way, but between polls, computers, committees, and advanced metric the pundit narrative is the outlier.

Imagine having to actually make this argument and then turning around and acting like they’re being denied if they miss the CFP. Making the ACC championship game is the must-be-this-tall-to-ride sign for an ACC CFP team.
