Test corrections turn into a collaborative poster project. 🤓 Students work in teams of 3 to correct and reflect on 3 items of their choosing. Afterwards, they view other teams posters and leave comments on sticky notes 🥳 #iteachmath #mtbos

Students rocked their first curricular task...a number sort! We later consolidated the groups into the 5 classifications of real numbers. Referring back to the white board groupings helped students make sense of the broader classifications.

Today students were making sense of what it means to be a "perfect square" with visual models. We also used the models to help us approximate non perfect squares.

In our Tabernacle Schools Friday Forensics course, students built up our class fingerprint database and analyzed their own prints using a balloon to help enlarge the details.

Forensics Friday students received a crash course on blood typing and successfully solved a crime matching the blood type found at the crime scene to one of the suspects. Proud of these Tabernacle Schools kiddos for their hard work each week!

What a special day! We dedicated our OMS courtyard to Mrs. Susan Grosser. We were very lucky to have her back even if it was for a short time. We want to thank everyone who made this day possible. WELCOME TO GROSSER’S GARDEN!

8th grade Pre Algebra students created their own flexible seating yesterday and were so proud of their work, they requested I post these pictures on social media.
