Once Francine makes landfall, its remnants will impact Middle TN. Heavy rain and flooding is the main concern, but severe weather including a low tornado threat is possible as well. Main time frame to watch will be Thursday & Friday.

The NWS sent out an email overnight about Francine. •What: Remnants of (soon to be) Hurricane Francine will move into Middle TN Thursday morning ◦Main concerns:  At least a low-end tornado threat ◦Secondary concerns:  1 to 4 inches of rain on dry, hard ground could cause

We will soon begin to feel the impacts of Tropical Cyclone Francine. While some hazards may accompany this system, we can also use the rain. And it appears that areas that have been hardest-hit by the recent drought stand to receive the most rainfall during the next several days.
