*** SATURDAY TRAFFIC WARNING — Trump Parade *** Tomorrow, October 24th there will be a Trump Parade beginning at 2 pm —-> it will start at Liberty Square, go to Scott Depot, down Teays Valley Rd to Hurricane then back to Liberty Square. Traffic could be bad during this time.

*** Honor Trail Race —> watch out for pedestrians crossing road *** Today is the first annual Honor Trail Race at The Meeks Mountain Trails (Hurricane City Park). 145 runners + spectators will park at the park and across Teays Valley Road. First race is at 8 am.

*** Teays Valley Road —> Traffic Advisory *** Valley Park is having a Halloween event this evening from 6 pm to 8 pm. Last night, traffic was backed up from Hurricane to Teays Valley. Avoid Teays Valley Road during these times if possible.

Today, we lit Hurricane City Hall with the THIN BLUE LINE in honor of Charleston Police Officer Cassie Johnson who was shot and killed in the line of duty. Please continue to pray for Cassie Johnson’s family, friends and co-workers as well as all first responders.

*** WATER LINE BREAK —> Main Street, Hurricane *** There is a water line break on Main Street near Western Hills. Lots of houses are affected with little or no water pressure. Utility workers have been dispatched and are enroute. As soon as I have an update, I’ll post.
