I’m proud to be the Mayor of a city that prioritizes school safety & community connection. Our Surprise Police Dept SRO & SSO Officers are top notch in serving, protecting & building relationships in our schools, and this Council is committed to supporting them in their efforts.

I enjoy connecting with Surprise residents whether in the community or in meetings. Recently I met with 1SG Terrence Henry to listen to his perspective as a #Surpriseaz resident and to reconnect as we served together in the AZ Guard for many years.  #connectionmatters

Presenting Proclamations is a responsibility of the Mayor & this week I surprised #SurpriseAZ City Manager Bob Wingenroth w/ a Proclamation of Recognition for his 45 years dedicated to public service. I firmly believe he embodies the servant leadership mindset. #Connectionmatters
